I wonder if Elia can disappoint me any more... why is marriage always a means to an end for female characters? It's always what she thinks and wants and she assumes things that will be beneficial only to her with zero regard for anyone else. It's pathetic. "Oh, I'm helping him get into the sanctuary of knowledge". Bullshit. It was obvious that he would be hindered from entering that place whether he's married or not because getting rid of him and manipulating his little brother is more beneficial to a lot of people and she knows that because of the "story " she read.
