At least the ML and FL's relationship is improving. Ewww can't believe Varayn getting depressed on his own and blaming the ML for not having a chance with the FL, when it was he himself who blew their one encounter anyway... by *threatening* her, of all things, when he should've at least *tried* to charm her.... And really, for a political mastermind and genius and all, I would've expected him to at least know how to "sweet-talk" people... (people, if not specifically "women")... but turns out Varayn was just "the creature in the attic," so isolated from the world of humans that he doesn't even know how to get a person to like him, without spouting feces from his mouth.....On the other hand, I wish the artist would've posted earlier all these helpful charts with the regional emblems ACTUALLY PAIRED with the faces of the characters relevant to each region, and divided by political faction. I would've found this useful like a gazillion chapters ago, when I was still trying to care about these secondary characters and attempting to tell them apart (knowing who was who, who was from where, and supporting which side...) despite the insidious "same face" and "same beard" syndrom they all suffer from. Now, at this point, it's too late, I gave up like ages ago... You took way too long with this, author.
